Since 1999, hundreds of our US advisors have helped numerous Chinese students in admission, scholarship, visa and job application. The following are a few of them. Most of our advisors' services are on case-by-case basis.

 

 

 

   Prof. Joseph Rubin

Prof. Joseph Rubin teaches at Columbia University School of International & Public Affairs, Columbia University School of Law and Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

 

Prof. Rubin is Executive Director of International Technical Assistance Program for Transforming Economies (ITAP), School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University and Executive Training International, providing management training courses for Chinese Government officials and private sector executives.

 

He is also Founder and Senior Partner of Rubin, Bailin, & Ortoli,  LLP in New York. He sits on numerous corporate boards and is a Board Member of Learn In USA.

 

Prof. Rubin obtained his B.A. degree from Columbia College and his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. He has traveled to over 100 countries. He is an established artist in photography.

 

 

Dr. Bruce Esposito

A well-known and popular professor at U.S. universities for over 30 years,  Dr. Esposito is currently a professor specialized in modern Asian history at the University of Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut.  An active participant in the China and Inner Asia Seminars at Harvard University, he has been a Lilly Fellow at Yale University and a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow at Harvard University.

 

In modern Asian history, Dr. Esposito has had special interests in science and technology, economic development, and medical systems and services in Asia. He was the editor of the China Energy Newsletter for over a decade and is the author of over 70 articles and reviews on China and Asian affairs. Dr. Esposito has made over 35 extended trips to Asia since 1970.

 

After earning his B.A. in history and economics at Brooklyn College, Dr. Esposito did graduate work at the Far Eastern & Russian Institute of the University of Washington and Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, before completing his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees at the School of International Service of The American University in Washington, D.C

WILLIAM E. LEFTWICH, III

 

 

William E. Leftwich, III, Principal and Chief Executive Officer of  LS Strategic Group is a world-renowned authority on Human Resource issues pertaining to equal opportunity programs.

 

Mr. Leftwich was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Equal Opportunity responsible for policy and enforcement of all of the Department of Defense’s equal opportunity programs for civilian and military personnel worldwide. 

 

Mr. Leftwich has been the guest speaker at corporate, military and government installations in the United States and overseas.

 

He was a senior executive with Sears Roebuck and Company where he held several senior management positions

 

Mr. Leftwich received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University, Oxford Ohio.  He attended Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts Program on Negotiation and Conflict Management for Senior Executives.  Mr. Leftwich received an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humanities from Utah State University, Logan, Utah.

 

Mr. Leftwich received the following awards and recognitions:

 

The recipient of the 1995, Dr. Benjamin L. Hooks Distinguished Service Award from the NAACP.

 

The Secretary of Defense’s Award for Outstanding Public Service.

 

Congressional Recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to community.

 
Appointed to the President’s Management Council on Hispanic Employment Initiative, the President’s Council on the Initiative on Asian and Pacific Islanders and the President’s National Disability Policy Review Board.
 
 

 


   Mr. Peter Freyberg


Mr. Peter Freyberg served as Director of Admissions and Financial Aids in 6 US universities and colleges in the past 35 years. He has extensive experience in admissions, university selection, college financing, and visa application. He is currently teaching and working in China and has successfully helped many Chinese students in getting into the right school, finding scholarships and obtaining visas.

Mr. Freyberg believes that the student should consider whether he will be able to get a visa when he selects a school. Otherwise, all efforts will be in vain. He points out that students who use prepared answers at the US embassay often get rejected because the consulate does not trust those with identical answers on the application form.

 

   Mr. Andrew Fair


Mr. Andrew Fair is Immigration Lawyer. He obtained B.A. from University of Pennsylvania and J.D. fromTemple University. He is admitted to the Bar in New York and Pennsylvania. He speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Spanish.

 

 

   Ms. Jenny Liu

Ms. Liu is President of LearninUSA Educational Service Program (China). She has helped hundreds of Chinese students to apply for US universities, financial aid, scholarships and visa.

She spent most of her time traveling in China to visit clients and follow up with various candidates. 

 

 

Andrian Bondy

Mr. Adrian Bondy is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he studied Cognitive Science and East Asian Studies.  Apart from English, he speaks Mandarin, French, and Italian.  He is a world traveler, and has spent considerable time in Beijing, where he taught English, and learned to understand and appreciate the Chinese language and culture.

 

            He has helped others gain successful admission to American universities, and is enthusiastic about helping Chinese students who want to study in the U.S. navigate the increasingly competitive and complex admissions process.  He will be of particular help in crafting successful personal statements and essays, as he has won numerous writing awards.
